MGM Grand hotel was fantastic

We stayed at the MGM Grand.
It was huge. Our room was up on one of the higher levels and we had a fantastic view down the strip towards Treasure Island direction.
It was in 1995, so it has probably changed since then.
At the time, New York New York, was just a hole in the ground. I would love to see it now. The MGM Grand is in a perfect spot. We would wander down one side of the strip and back up the other and watch the shows outside the hotels.
The pirate battle outside Treasure Island, the volcano outside the Mirage, the beautiful changing of the sky in the Forum shopping arcade. There are too many to think of.
Of course now you have the fountains at the Bellagio, the Eiffel Tower and lots of other new attractions that weren't there when we went. I would love to go back and see them.
The MGM had a lot of places to eat. I took home a lot of paper place mats and had them laminated so I could use them at home. A cheap souvenir.
Somewhere down at ground level, there was a huge Wizard of OZ display. It was magical. I wonder if it is still there.
There was the amusement park attached to it as well. We didn't go there, too many other things to see and do.
We enjoyed our time at the MGM Grand and would definately recommend it as a great place to stay. It is in a perfect place on the strip.
I don't have a photo of the hotel. We don't have a digital camera.
