Our stay at Monte Carlo

We booked a Monaco Suite and loved it. It was reasonably priced on weds/thurs but not on tues/friday. But, if you check prices at other hotels it wasn't bad. I heard mixed reviews about this hotel but my main consideration for booking was nice rooms and a wonderful pool. I think I got both here. The pool was very, very small-the pictures make it seem larger. It has a lazy river and the wave pool. We literally spent all day there; disappointed that they close at 7 pm, but that is pretty standard for vegas I hear. Excellent staff service. The Cafe rest. was very good; buffet was so-so, about $20 a time. Excellent walking location for MGM, New York and Excalibur. Spend a couple of extra bucks on Monaco room, it has a lovely flat screen TV, velvet couch, refrig, jacuzzi tub, two baths, and is really cute. Try to get a room facing the strip or you might hear construction noise early. I'd go here again for a budget vacation.
