Beautiful BC
Baby boomers are retiring. Yay!
Lots are headed to British Columbia, and not just to Victoria, which is known for its mild climate, British-style appearance, and culture. Retirees find other places in BC appealing as well.
Just like in the rest of Canada, the population in BC generally lives within 100 miles of the US border, and that's where most of the retirees go, too.
But there are also places farther north that call to those with pioneer spirits and a yen for a simpler, if somewhat more strenuous, life.
RetirementInvestigator.com showcases the best places to retire. It even allows visitors to brag about their own bit of heaven. Not all the spots listed are in BC or even in Canada, but lots of highlighted places come from those who decided to retire in British Columbia.
