Day 1 – Downtown Belgrade Arrival to the Belgrade Airport - the Discover Serbia Team will collect you and take you to the hotel. As an intro to your weekend in Belgrade, we recommend sightseeing. Walking down the Knez Mihailova Street (the pedestrian zone) you will come across the 2000 years old Kalemegdan Fortress. Don't miss the magnificent view from its towers. After the Fortress, next on the agenda is Skadarlija, one of the oldest streets in Belgrade, a famous bohemian quarter where the spirit from the past still lives. Street performers, cobblestone road, restaurants, and art galleries are merely a part of this street's authentic atmosphere. You'll be able to enjoy a warm welcome dinner in a restaurant decorated in a traditional manner, with domestic food and live music.
Day 2 - Belgrade "on the water” The Water World of the Metropolis! We will sail to an unforgetable day and a special and original life of the city on the Discover Serbia ship. One of the very interesting characteristics of Belgrade is that both the rivers are very active since there are hundreds of small rafts, splavs and boathouses along their banks.
Experiencing these hidden and unusual places will certainly exceed your expectations. Straight from the vast Danube, which flows right beside the Kalemegdan Fortress, we flow into the smaller and more intimate Sava, where we enter the world of the "river people" and take a small break at our friends, on their boathouse. After the break, we continue our adventure over lunch on the boat, to the Ostruznica Bridge from which we head back to where we started our voyage - Zemun. You are free to spend the remaining of the afternoon according to your choice. Of course, we would be more than happy to advise you on how to spend your free time, as well as to hear all about your interests.
Day 3 - At the roof of the city ! The Oasis in the heart of the city!
Experiencing Belgrade in a completely different way could also begin with the sightseeing of the buildings bombed in 1999. We continue towards Kosutnjak, the biggest oasis in Belgrade. The ride through a huge forest will end in a cafe located on the top of the hill from which you can see the entire city. This is the perfect place to have a break and to sum up all the experiences you gained from your weekend in Belgrade.
After a cafe break - Visitors with early flights will be escorted to the airport and safely boarded. Another visit to the centre of town will be organized for visitors with afternoon flights. There, they will be able to spend the remaining free hours according to their choice and with our recommendation.

Day 1 – Belgrade
Arrival at the Belgrade airport, where "Discover Serbia" team will wait for you and take you in the van to your hotel.
In the afternoon - sightseeing of Kalemegdan, fortress more than 2,000 years old, as well as tour through Skadarlija, one of the oldest Belgrade streets, famous bohemian place in which the spirit of Belgrade past still lives. Day 2 – Wilderness
Camp making in the Wilderness !
Early at dawn we're runnig away from civilization, we are leaving Belgrade! An ardous expedition into the intact wilderness awaits us. The instructors will teach you how to find the right spot, protected from the winds, how to position the camp in relation to the surrounding vegetation, the water; they will also teach you the camp rules of behaviour.
Night watch plan will also be made. We will wait for night to fall by the campfire, drinking hot natural tea and eating our first nature dinner.
Day 3 – Wilderness
After the first night in the wilderness, another exciting day is waiting for us in which we will scout the camp surroundings, in order to find food and water. Our instructors Boban and Dragan will show you how to find nutritive provisions in the nature. You will have a chance to challenge yourself with spoting animal movements around us, or eventual presence of other people. You will learn hot to spot marklends in the nature and why they are so important. You will learn bushcraft secrets, all these "small" signs in the nature that can make us certain privilege of staying in the wilderness.
Although the vegetation is exuberant, it's not always easy to find and recognize a 'meal from the nature', and specially not easy to find enough food. So constant searching for food will be our daily routine. We will search for terrain where we can find edible mushrooms, all sorts of forest fruits (blackberries, wild strawberries, blackcurrants), field herbs for making of salads, soups, teas, natural honey. Also, a very energetic food can be, ant, caterpiller, worms, snails, crabs and fish. All that we are going to try to find and taste.
Afternoon - you will learn about techniques of preparing food from the nature.After a very exciting day, we will enjoy our delicious 100% natural dinner. Next, around the camp fire we will exchange our impressions and experiences.
Day 4 - Wilderness Navigation - spatial orientation!
Outdoor navigation training is our task for today. You will learn to navigate with the help of compass, map, signs in the nature and the Sun. How to determine basic directions, how to spot landmarks, how not to get lost - all of these are training subjects.
Also, you will learn about marking of passed and specified points on the map, as well as on the terrain itself. The guests will have the opportunity to try terrain sketching.
Teambuilding game - splitting into two teams, both of which will be lead by our companions. The goal of this game is that one of the teams gets first to the specified point, using the knowledge gained during the outdoor navigation training. Co-operation within a team is one of the vital aspects of this game. Constant search for food durng the whole day, where our companions can try their foraging skill, taught by their instructors.
One more exciting day is behind us, its time for a nice dinner and rest by the camp fire.
Day 5 - Wilderness
Moving the camp - searching for new location!
During this day our companions will be given a chance to show their skills: they will choose their leader, pack the camp, search for another suitable camp location, make the camp, take care of the campfire, make dinner and take care of nightwatch shifts. Naturally, all of these activities will be supervised by the instructors, which will be able to advise, inform, or make any wrong move right.
Afternoon - camp making and area scouting before tomorrow's final test - EXTREME
A first night in our new camp is waiting for us, by the warm camp fire and delicious 100% organic and natural dinner.
Day 6 - Wilderness EXTREME TEST!!! The purpose of the EXTREME test is for our companions to completely rely on the foraging and food making skills learned so far. In other words, on that day we will eat only the food that our guests find and prepare. As always, the instructors are there to give any suggestions and help. We are sure that these few days you spent in the wilderness so far, will awaken and motivate your instincts, so the search for food will be a real pleasure and challenge for you.
For this special night - Farewell dinner and "Wilderness party"!
Day 7 - Departure to Belgrade - back to civilisation!
Every adventure is exciting while it lasts, sometimes, unfortunately, it breaks for a while, but the adventure never ends… it lasts… it always goes on! The Adventure is eternal!!!
Early at dawn we are packing the camp and beginning to prepare for our return.
Our guests will have a chance to try navigating by themselves - i.e. to lead the expedition to the gathering point, where transportation for Belgrade will be waiting for us.
To be ecologicaly friendly, one of the goals of this course is that when we leave our camp, no traces of human presence are to be found in the camp. All waste and debris are to be brought with us back to civilization.
We will accompany our guests to the airport and we will make sure that they are in time for the flights, together with their luggage.

Day 2- mountain Kopaonik Trip to mountain Kopaonik !!! We are leaving Belgrade early in the morning and ride with van to Mt.Kopaonik where our guides will wait for you. After traditional Serbian welcome with Rakija - fruit brandy and bread, you will be escorted to your accommodation place, a warm mountain house, which is going to be your home for next days.
In the afternoon you will meet our dogs and you will learn procedures of taking care of and feeding dogs. Also you will learn more about our small winter base and its environment.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere of our mountain house we will wait for the night beside the fire and with local delicious dishes & organic food!
Day 3- mountain Kopaonik Demonstration of equipment and dog training technique!!!
In the wild and white mountain ambience you will learn all details about how to use mushing equipment, how to put harnesses on dogs and difference between variety of dog harnesses, building the dog team with team positions: leaders, point dogs, team & wheel dogs, unharnessing and get to know sleds and gang-lines with demonstration and practice. How to safely handle dogs, how they are kept in dog boxes and what's most effective way of taking care of them, how to hook up a dog team etc. Take an active role in feeding dogs and become their friends! After a long and nice day, another cosy evening is waiting for us. Warm atmosphere by the fire in the mountain house, good meal and music.
Day 4 - mountain Kopaonik Manage dog team - learn about techniques of driving sleds!!!
In this very active day you will learn how to manage dog team, ride the sleds, learn commands and about relationship with the dogs...Demonstration and practical exercise where you ride the sleds on trail without the dogs in the morning hours.
During afternoon we will take you for a ride in sleds for a little picnic at our hidden trail campsite Red Watters and back after few hours. Hot tea, mouled wine and hot Serbian fruit brandy - rakija and dinner. Later, you will have chance to participate in entire dog feeding procedure in the evening.
For the night, after the dinner, we have prepared a mountain social game, which we are sure you are going to love. Day 5 - mountain Kopaonik Daily visit to Red Watters - you are driving your dog team !!! After breakfast we will get dogs ready and you will drive your own small dog teams of 4 dogs on challenging downhill trail to the Red Watters campsite!!! After this amazing experience we will spend some time resting and enjoying the natural beauty of Red Watters area. Later during afternoon you will take your dog team on uphill trail going back!!!
Feeling and experience you will never forget!!! Experience guide will be in front and behind you and your dog team at all the time.
After a very intensive and active day, you will enjoy having a nice and warm dinner in our mountain house. Day 6 - mountain Kopaonik Red Watters training camp!!! In this another exciting day we will repeat activities from a previous day with corrections of most of the mistakes from previous runs. Successful candidates will get the exclusive chance to run bigger team of 8 dogs on return trip uphill the trail!!!
All the time our guides will be close to you for any assistance! After a traditional Serbian dinner, you will have chance to visit a charming domestic mountain tavern and enjoy its unique atmosphere.
Day 7 - mountain Kopaonik Night camping in the mountain at Marko's Rock !!! In this day an extraordinary adventure is waiting us and our dog team! After early breakfast in the morning we are packing & leaving for Red Watters and procede on our hidden trails with two dog teams toward the Marko's Rock!
After we arrive, we will make our outdoor camp for overnight stay in the woods. Nice afternoon with dog sleds and more practise is waiting for us. After feeding the dogs, building the fire, we'll have dinner with relaxation on open next to the fire or in tents...an unforgetable spending night next to our howling dogs that are singing ancient songs about wilderness.
Day 8 - mountain Kopaonik Return trip from camping & sled dog race among our guests!
After an unforgetable night outside in the mountain, early in the morning we'll pack our camp and prepare dog to leave the camping site going back to Red Watters. After a short break in Red Watters area, we will continue to our mountain house, where warm and hot drinks will wait for us!!!
During this day we will organise a sled dog race among you!!!...and you will get a present..... a certificate of completing a mushing course in Polarex BG School .F Farewell party in the evening, after packing for leaving following morning, we will exchange all our impressions and moments of this amazing mountain trip. Day 9 - back to Belgrade and later to airport Every adventure is exciting while it lasts, sometimes, unfortunately, it breaks for a while, but the adventure never ends… it lasts… it always goes on! Day 1 – Belgrade Adventure starts from Belgrade! Departure from Belgrade to Pester weald at 4 p.m. There is Usac cave on Pester weald. Arrival to the spot nearby the cave is planned for around 9 p.m. Sleeping at local host, with communion by the fire and with local food delicatessens - the great ambience to get to know each other better.
The tour leader, is Sasa Maricic, professional photographer and speleologist for more than 20 years. We will go through all the details of tomorrow's adventure.
Day 2 - Usac Cave
No one even thought that in the limestone layers of Pecansko Brdo hill, nature has built one of the most interesting cave systems in the country. Judged from its numerous and diverse features, it represents a seldom-beheld curiosity.
As is turned out, these cave entrances inside make up a single cave system more than 6,000 meters long with many passages at several levels, chambers, and of course, speleothems without which these caves would not have been what they are - most captivating underground castles. un mašte kakva je priroda.
Underneath the steep limestone slope is the entrance to the Ledena Pecina cave. Its length, including the side passages is slightly over two and half kilometers. The fallen boulders of limestone, pebbles, and clay deposits speak about the lengthy process of formation of this cave. Its decoration looks like long draperies and flowstone "waterfalls" as high as ten meters in places. Although they appear cold, their beauty is breath-taking. Beneath one "waterfall" there is a flow running that after some meters disappears into a crack. A spring of clear water, actually a small pool, creates a barrier to approaching the hall from whose ceiling descend thin stalactites. One of the two passages leads to the beautiful Great Chamber. Its lower section slopes towards the Linking passage heading towards the main passage of the Usacka Pecina cave. The place where the Linking passage begins, a passage with columns and rich in speleothems, separates and from there on one may reach the Ledena Pecina cave. At the end of the passage with columns, in fact, begins the Ledena Pecina cave, which breaks off with the exit to the Uvac River canyon. The overall length of all the passages of this section is about 2,100 meters. Chamber after chamber. That is the characteristic and beauty of the Ledena Pecina cave. The narrow passages, water filled pools, and chambers. The tall columns in the middle reach the height up to ten meters. Torch light is reflected from the slender white columns of which some are streaked with reddish or bluish-gray hues. There is a whole wealth of speleothems everywhere around.
One passes from one hall to another by flat, steep or sinking passages. Delightful speleothems are abundant here. Such an artist in creating the unusual and pretty can only be some patient builder full of imagination such as Nature is.
There is Uvac lake just below the exit of Usac cave. The lake is situated in the Canyon of Uvac River. There, we will take the break and have the BBQ and local food specialties, on the lakeshore. After communion by the fire and exchanging of the impressions, we will go to sleep, because the next adventure starts tomorrow!
Day 3 – Canyon of Uvac River Splendid Griffon Vulture!!!
After calm night spent at the fresh mountain air and after good breakfast, we go to the next adventure. There are boats on the Uvac lakeshore waiting for us. We will carefully get close to the colony of Griffon Vulture, gorgeous and very rare birds. You will be completely thrilled with the sight of these wonderful birds, looked at from a very short distance. Griffon Vulture (Gyps Fulvus), about 10 kg heavy and with 2-3 meters wing spread, used to live all over Europe. However, nowadays they exist in Serbia only. The history has recorded that this bird used to decorate the heraldry and flags of local tribes. Today, unfortunately, Griffon Vultures are faced with their final moments. Thanks to great efforts of experts and engagement of local people, the population of the Griffon Vultures have increased from critical 10 couples to 240 individual birds in last 10 years. Today, they live in few Serbian places only.
After communion with birds, we will have a lunch and a break in the natural and idyllic atmosphere of Uvac Canyon. Unfortunately, in the afternoon we will have to leave this little paradise and to depart to Belgrade.

Day 2 – mountain Zlatibor
Discovery starts! The direction-Western Serbia-Zlatibor Mountain!
We start harmonic overture in the big adventure with travelling to Zlatibor Mountain. After arrival, we will visit the unique museum under the sky "Staro selo" ("The Old Village") in Sirogojno. Authentic Serbian village from the past centuries, frozen in today, preserved for the future, will recall the spirit of the ancient times. It presents the architecture, interior design of houses, the economy and the organization of a family life in old Serbian village in authentic way. We search along the waterfalls - which hide the second task from the Legend Hunt Game In the afternoon - in order not to allow ourselves to relax too much in the idyllic landscape - Teambuilding! In a cozy home-like atmosphere, we will wait for the night beside the fire and with local delicious dishes & organic food !
Day 3 - The fortress "The Damned Jerina" Conquering the Damned Fortress! The Magic fortress, also known as the fortress of damned Jerina, was built in 13th century. Damned Jerina, who used to throw her lovers into the deep well inside the walls, built it, the legend reads. Untouched and glorious jewel of the middle age will not leave you indifferent.
Authentic, non-restored, abandoned and damned, the fortress is ideal place for hunt for our legend! Along with many secrets, the fortress hides our next task, too!
Teambuilding in the spirit of Chivalry games! Dinner and break in Ethno-home nearby the fortress. Ambient worshipful of the day pleasantly spent.
Day 4 - Djavolja Varos (The Devil Town) Absolutely Unreal!!! Folk Legend: Once upon the time, there was a beautiful girl whose father didn't allow her to get married, so she decided to marry her brother, the legend reads. An force majuere has turned the guests at the wedding into the stone statues. Local population avoids going to Djavolja Varos. They claim that "some strange things happen there overnight and the strange sounds can be heard"… They say that "no one who has ever spent the night there, has waken up alive in the morning." Science explains this natural phenomenon, the genesis of about 202 stone statues, as "light andesite massive", created by the erosion of the specially composed wold. What a great spot for Legend Hunt Game and Teambuilding, just imagine! Oh, yes, you will find out more about Legend Hunt and about next task after the sunset. For the bravest ones, eager of adventure and of unique experience, sleeping overnight in the tents near the stone statues. For others, there is cozy and safe accommodation nearby Djavolja Varos.
Day 5 - Suva Planina (Dry Mountain) On the roof of Serbia!!! 2-3 hours of exciting climbing through the untouched nature to the Devojacki grob plateau (Girl's grave), 1,408 meters altitude, await us while searching for the final task of our hunt for the legend. The plateau offers fascinating and deep view, worth every second of climbing. The peaks of Suva Planina hide our final task. The Legend Hunt is completed! Day 6 - Suva Planina (Dry Mountain) Spiritual discovering of adventure!!! The visit to the monk who lives completely alone in Vera Veta monastery on Suva Planina. Monastery was made on the remains of the sacral object from 4th century. It has been completely deserted and ruined for many years, until the monk Grigorije came. He raised the Lord's temple again, and brought the spirit back to the mountain. Unbelievable spiritual ambience that you will never forget.
Break and lunch on the plateau above the monastery. Farewell party in mountain house!!
Day 7 - departure to Belgrade - the visit to monastery of monk-warriors "Manasija" Every adventure is exciting while it lasts, sometimes, unfortunately, it breaks for a while, but the adventure never ends… it lasts… it always goes on! The Adventure is eternal!!!
We will accompany the guests with the early flights back to the airport and we will make sure that they are in time for the flights, together with their luggage. The guests with the afternoon flights will have the opportunity to visit the monastery of monk-warriors "Manasija" from 15th century, on their way back to Belgrade. There are the remains of Emperor Lazar in the monastery. Emperor Lazar was one of the most influential people in early Serbian history.
